Here you will find a spirited and open community of children, teens and adults dedicated to the pursuit of Irish traditional music. We celebrate each person's achievements and honor the individual and collective talents of our extended family.

Fall Open House and First Day of Classes

Riley School classes will resume with Fall Quarter on September 9th and registration will open in mid-August.

On September 9 we will also hold an open house. Interested people are welcome to join us at noon for soup and an introduction to the Riley School. If you would like to listen in on a class that day, please contact so we can let the teacher know you are coming.


Sessions

For up to date schedule information, please contact to be added to the Cincinnati Sessions Facebook Messenger group, and/or to be added to the Dayton Session group.

Here are some typical places and times for Irish music sessions :

Streetside Brewery -

Regularly scheduled Irish sessions are ongoing at Streetside Brewery in Columbia-Tusculum, at 7 pm, on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
The brewery is at 4003 Eastern Ave in Columbia-Tusculum, just a block away from the Irish Heritage Center.

Community Session -

There are regularly scheduled sessions on the second and fourth Sundays of each month, from 2 - 4 pm.
Summer location :
Kingswood Park Pavillion (4188 Irwin-Simpson Rd. Mason, OH) if weather permits.

The Dayton Session -

There is a well-attended session at 7 pm Wednesdays at the Fifth Street Brewpub, 1600 E 5th St, Dayton, OH 45403.



In-person classes are held on Saturdays, beginning at 9:00 am at :

Norwood, OH

Dates for the 2023-24 school year are -

9 SEP - 11 NOV : Fall Quarter
6 JAN - 9 MAR : Winter Quarter
23 MAR - 4 MAY : Spring Quarter

Registration generally opens about a month before classes begin.
