Riley School
is honored to receive support from
both the Ohio and Kentucky Arts Councils,
and
is approved as a participating ACE provider for the
Ohio Afterschool Child Enrichment Educational Savings Account Program
The Riley School of Irish Music was awarded the
Ohio Heritage Fellowship for Community Leadership for 2018.
Brian Ó hAirt and Kathy Schneider were awarded and completed
an Ohio Arts Council Traditional Arts Apprenticeship
for traditional singing for 2019.
Beverly Buchanan and Tim Clarke were awarded and completed
a Traditional Arts Apprenticeship
for 2017.
In recognition of artistic excellence,
Justin Bonar-Bridges and Emmanuel Gray participated in
the Kentucky Arts Council's Folk and Traditional Arts Apprenticeship for 2017,
which is supported by state tax dollars and
federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
The ACE Educational Savings Account program provides qualifying families
with a $500 credit that can be used to pay for a variety of enrichment activities
that will accelerate learning for students impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
